Mystery / detective / whatever you want to call it.

I'm mostly into fantasy (not as much as stuff about dragons/knights/fairies/etc., mostly just fictional events that very likely wouldn't happen in real life) and science fiction, I'm actually writing a story that's science fiction right now, it's about anthropomorphic animals (mostly hyenas), the main character ends up finding an alien hyena in the forest at some point and then becomes friends with it.. (I'm probably not going to explain too much about this series right now though)
I rarely read books, though, I actually watch movies more often, but you still get the point.

In the gaming world, I tend to like casual, simulation, and puzzle, although I do have a taste in Platformer, thanks to Sonic.

My favorite book genre is fantasy. I love seeing made up monsters and magic. My favorite music genre usually falls into boss fight songs and music box songs. My favorite game genre is any game that has a good story, characters and doesn't have a lot of unnecessary padding on them.

Books: Mystery is pretty cool
Music: Orchestral music & video game soundtracks
Games: Platformers, RPGs and tactics games (specifically Advance Wars is pretty great)

Gonna expand this music discussion because I like a huge variety of music.

I mainly listen to electronic of all kinds (ambient, garage, idm, dubstep, trance, house, synthpop, synthwave, experimental, electro, trap, dnb, neuro, eurobeat etc.), although I also sometimes listen to classic rock and rap. I really need to get into post rock as well one of these days but I'm lazy. For rap, I sometimes listen to the heavy, distorted stuff (e.g. look at me) but also the more chill/jazzy stuff (nujabes, uyama hiroto). Also sometimes weird asian rap (kohh, keith ape)

I guess my all time favorite albums would be (max is 1 per artist & genre):

1. Gunship (Self Titled) {Synthwave}
2. Porter Robsinson - Worlds {Synthpop}
3. Burial - Untrue {UK Garage}
4. ２８１４－新しいひの誕生 {Ambient/Vaporwave}
5. Alon Mor - Long Awaited Journey {Mixed/Genreless} (technically hasn't released yet, but I've heard a lot of the tracks already)

Mine is fantasy too! I like things about dragons the most.
