Yeah, I can understand. Honestly, I remember loving this game to death when I first got it, but I haven't played it in months simply because I haven't wanted to. It's the same with all Zelda games for me. I love it when I first get my hands on it, and then I leave it be for months at a time. The worst part is that I really want to enjoy these games.

I feel the same way with the Zelda series, OoT is my least favorite game ever, and Wind Waker, while somewhat enjoyable, just doesn't strike the right notes with me

I honestly like Majora's Mask, ALbW, and Twilight Princess (And BOTW) better than OoT (TP was basically OoT again but better in almost every way)
And to me, Wind Waker really wasn''t that enjoyable to the point where i didn't bother to 100(?)% the game

OK for some reason my brother defeated beast ganon and calamity ganon and Zelda said “Do you remember me?”. Then it cut to the title screen and when he went back in, it hadn't saved and the quest wasn't complete. Is this supposed to happen?

Does his save file now have a star next to it? I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be another cutscene and then the credits though

I absolutely LOVE the game. I don't see how it could be “underwhelming” to you, but I guess it's just your opinion, and you ARE entitled to it.
I usually play one LOZ game for a while, almost finish it, and then get a new game (or console) and completely forget about it. I was playing “Triforce Heroes” for the longest time. I got to the final level and…. got a new game. RIP

I always love Windwaker when I start up a new game, but then later get SUPER scared of going out into the ocean, and it will take like 15mins just to muster up enough courage to set sail. I don't know why, but I've always had some sort of phobia of the ocean. Not in real life, but in video games and movies. The whole idea of setting sail and leaving an island is really scary to me.

Yeah, you can get all of it for $20(including the last pack coming on the 23rd, at least I think that's when it's coming), right now I don't think it's really worth the money but once that last one comes out it will be more than worth it
