Improvement to the Explore page
I kinda hate the Explore page.
1/ All the projects are the same kind of projects.
2/ it's always the same people on the explore page. I once saw someone who had 6 projects on the explore page at once!
3/ If you switch it from Trending to Recent, most of the projects aren't that good.
I think this change could make it better.
There should be a way to set the kind of projects you want to see in the explore page, kind of like how you can change the ad settings on YouTube. In Account Settings, there should be an extra tab called Explore settings or something like that. It would let you choose What kind of projects you want to see. Animations, games, etc. It would sort this by project tags. That way you could see the projects you like instead of whatever is trending.
Duplicate? Rejected? please let me know!

I think tags kinda count already, but it's a bit weird and I don't know exactly how it works.
Also you're right about the recent thing. If I look under the “games” section and select “recent”, every single project is called either “game” or “games” and none of them look interesting at all.
But I guess you can't change that much since there's already a recently shared projects section.

It would be nice if there was a way to actually look up a particular tag (rather than search for that name in the title), but I guess that's for another suggestion. (I'm I saw a suggestion like this before, but I can't seem to find it now..?)

What do you mean exactly by “most of the (recent) projects aren't that good”?
It's true that there are a lot of remixes of the Pong starter, and simple projects using Scratch media, but there are Scratchers who aren't particularly popular but still make very high quality projects. It would be unfair for the state of the recent page to draw attention away from said projects.
Currently it's already difficult enough for less popular Scratchers to get views on their projects.

When you go to the explore page, in the right corner above the projects, there's a dropdown menu. Which currently says Trending. Change it from Trending to Recent and it shows the most recently shared projects, which are not very good.

I know what you're talking about. The point I was making was this:

These are also “recent” projects.

1. So? Those are for people who are looking for those types of projects
2. Really? There is variety when I clicked “explore”
3. Now that's just rude
No support, this is not really necessary in my opinion.
(please don't hire a hitman because of my opinion people, no offense)

What about new recent projects that are good? It won't get popular suddenly if the creator doesn't have loads of followers.
