''Random project'' button

It would be fun if you add a random project button ! It would be like the ‘'Random article’' button on Wikipedia ! Thank you !

(You should add it at the top of the page, it would be easier to access)

I'm not sure if this counts as a duplicate or not…

No, I didn't know that there was already a topic about this subject… But it's still a good idea, right ?

Not a duplicate, that topic is for urls. Not for buttons.

This is a good idea. Scratch 1 used to have this when you were making projects you could click a button and it would randomly choose one from the sprite library

Isn't it still a duplicate though? all the button would do is link to a URL - or work exactly the same as my suggestion?

The OP never mentioned anything about a button. That topic for for a link, this topic is for a button. However, there is an original topic requesting for a button that leads to random projects and random studios.

Support. This would help out unnoticed scratchers.

No support. It is unneeded, and can lead to spam or inappropriate projects out of no where.

Spam? No.
Inappropriate projects? “Inappropriate” should just be a banned reason on the suggestions forum.
Go to Explore and change the “trending” drop down to recent.
It shows recently made projects. They could be inappropriate,
The ST has this feature so clearly your reasoning is rejected.

Inappropriate things have to be discovered by someone to report them. The ST doesn't just go to every new project and check it; they work on a report based system. A user reports something bad, it get's taken down.

I agree with what you are saying, but here is something that might make you think:

The “recently made projects” section on the front page is visible to only logged in users, because that section can sometimes show inappropriate projects.

The “recently made projects” section doesn't actually even exist anymore on the homepage.

However, the recent option in Explore does exist and is available to logged out users.

Isn't Internet Explorer unsupported?
