Can't load or save projects using Safari on MacOS High Sierra

Hi,

I'm new to Scratch, getting ready to build and program my Vorpal Hexapod. I've successfully figured out how to use Scratch in various environments but have one issue. The File menu items Save Project and Load Project don't do anything when using Safari on High Sierra. Using the same version of Safari in Sierra works fine.

That said, I can't say for sure that High Sierra is the issue but I don't see any other significant difference between my two systems.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

It turns out it may not be related to High Sierra after all. Safari Technology Preview works fine. I'm out of ideas, having tried every developer and debug item, reseting preferences, disabling extensions, etc. Nothing enables the Load and Save menu items on the normal version of Safari (11.0).

Yeah, I was having the same problem on Safari too. I also couldn't upload images to the editor. You'll need to switch browsers, I'm afraid.

Thanks, but I just solved it. When selecting whether or not to allow Flash Player to run for the website, you need to hold down the option key. This allows turning off “safe mode” which was preventing the load and save dialogs from appearing.

This belongs in the bugs and glitches subforum, I'll ask for it to be moved for you

edit: nevermind, this is a necropost.
