Game Ideas?
Hello there! I recently joined scratch and made a few clicker games. You can check them out if you want, but that's not what i posted about. I'm looking for ideas. I need something to make that's about at a medium difficulty level. Please let me know if you have any and thank you for your help.

You can clone something and create super cool games!

Game Ideas?
Hello there! I recently joined scratch and made a few clicker games. You can check them out if you want, but that's not what i posted about. I'm looking for ideas. I need something to make that's about at a medium difficulty level. Please let me know if you have any and thank you for your help.
Try doing a 2D puzzle/maze game with a start and finish. Have the user control the character with WASD or Up-Down-Left-Right arrows. Add certain elements like keys and doors that the user needs to grab pickup to gain passage through. If you want something more advanced, add sprites for the game contents. And, even more advanced, add make AI mobs that strafe back and forth that the user needs to avoid. Something like that could be fun. Best of luck!

I'm not sure what type of games you'd like to create and what you consider medium difficulty, but here's a few ideas (with a couple resources!):
• Mazes (as mentioned above)
• InventwithScratch (https://inventwithscratch.com/book/) has a good tutorial on this if you need it (as well as other projects)
• Something educational
• interactive world map?
• a zoo / aquarium?
• A simple interactive story
• Twine is a great way to plan these
• A time-based game
• Races
• A Simon-Says game (or similar to)
• Colouring “books”
• Quizzes
• Simple platformers
This is all I can think of for now!
If you're worried about using the external resources I have mentioned, you don't need to use them. But if you'd like to know, both I and my school have been using both, so they're safe! Just a hint with Twine if you decide to use it: it saves to your browser so if you want to keep it, save it as an html file on your computer.
