10 PLATFORMER IDEAS!
Here are a bunch of ideas for a platform game!
1. Have the backdrop using the video camera, so you can see yourself as you play!
2. Use obstacles to increase the game difficulty.
3. Have a cloud data ‘high score’.
4. Try to do the best graphics as possible.
5. Instead of a block or circle, have a character with several costumes as the control figure.
6. Include a thumbnail to attract viewers!
7. Have a sentence or two at the top of the level, either a story or a comment about the level.
8. Instead of ‘just-a-game’, give the game a purpose, like a mission that the player is on!
9. Use a colour scheme that fits nicely with the game:
- blue, green, white
- yellow, orange, black
- pink, white, violet
10. If you can't figure out how to make your own platforming engine, backpack someone else's and give credit in the notes.
Hope these ideas help you out, and if you find any others, please let me know!

Here's another idea: you're a cherry that's trying to find your way back to your sundae. You have to avoid little lakes of sticky caramel sauce and falling sprinkles on your way. Maybe so, maybe not Let me know if you use this idea; if so, then maybe give a little credit Happy Scratching!
Sadly, my signature eloped with an attractive kumquat

10 PLATFORMER IDEAS!
I made a Harry Potter platformer where you have to get to the horcrux to get to the next level. The backdrop is where they found the horcrux from the books/films. You find all of the horcruxes (except Harry, obviously) and at the end you have to press the E key (Expelliarmus) to kill Moldy Voldy (Voldemort, Peeves' words, not mine).
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light” – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” ― Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.” ― Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone
“We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” – Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

That's a good idea! I made one similar to it so I'll make sure to credit you. Here's another idea: you're a cherry that's trying to find your way back to your sundae.
