More Clones!
Use Pen tools. I started a game with clones, clones was a terrible idea, it lagged incredibly. I changed to using pen, and it worked. It wouldn't work well for what I want to do.

Probably not. It would be hard. You would have to stamp CONSTANTLY! And, it would stamp too slow to work.

You would have to stamp CONSTANTLY!Eh ehm.
Only stamp when the world is updated.
Case in point: (uses pen instead of stamping) http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/17396139/

Maybe the number of clones should be automatically set depending on the what computer the user has. If you have an old computer, it should be lower, and if you have a supercomputer, it should be higher.

I want a much higher clone limit. I need the extra clones for a fully-functional multiplayer Terraria project.
How it would help:
People could make bigger games with less sprites
People could make tile-based games that can zoom out A LOT
People could make huge multiplayer tile-based games like the one mentioned above
AND MORE! (I am sure people could find other uses for more clones.
And didn't Lightnin say this:If Scratch was a room, it would have a low floor, wide walls, and a high ceiling.
* Low floor: It should be easy to climb in and get started with Scratch - even for Scratchers who have no experience programming.
* Wide walls: Scratchers should be able to make all kinds of things with Scratch - not just animations and games, but news programs, science experiments - things we can't even imagine.
* High Ceiling: Even though it's easy for someone who is new to programming to get started with Scratch, it should still be possible to make complex stuff.
How it might hurt:
People could clone so fast and make the clones do so many things really quickly that it would crash all computers (save supercomputers)
People could crash THEIR OWN COMPUTERS and lose progress on projects
And I am sure that people could find other harmful things to do with it (I can't think of any more off the top of my head)

I'm not sure if I support or not. It could get laggy if you have too many clones and you can always delete a clone.

You don't have to bump it every 3 hours… More like every 2 days…
But I still think it is possible to workaround…

No it won't….. Well, like all my other unshared projects, I guess I should abort the Terraria scroller. You don't have to bump it every 3 hours… More like every 2 days…

The limit should be raised from (what is it, 100?) to 250 or 300.
