Realm Trails - An Endless Wave Survival (Notice)
Notice: I'm taking one last leap to update the project to version 1.4 with new gameplay elements, which in the seeable weeks may be released. I'm kind of moving on from scratch development at this point, and seeing the fact that without the use of the offline editor this project can even be played well is kind of discouraging, as well as the lack of people interested. Welcome Scratchers!
This is the official forum thread of Realm Trails, an arcade-style endless tower defense game. It has been a heavy working to script and write out all the basics for this big and open tower defense game, but I am pleased to present you with this project. This forum will also contain the patch notes of versions and patches.
So, what is Realm Trails?
Basically, its a quick action tower defense game with a bunch weapon and magic verity. In-game, there are many attacks and blast powerups available for use in order to make your way to the highest rounds. Enemies will follow a path based on the map, and bosses will spawn every eight rounds. There is an incredible and growing amount of unlockable content for players to enjoy. Even if you may not be a great strategy player, there is still tons of straight of combat for you to enjoy. So, get ready, as the game's memo is about the way you play.
Debugging, Remixing, and Community Support.
As stated above, this game is open to volunteer wanting to give their own spin on the game. There is built-in support for easily creating new guns and/or changing textures inside this project. I am wanting to interact with my community of players as best as I could, and I'm wanting to see the creativity people have to offer for Realm Trails. I am also standing to be aware of bugs and wanting to fix and add things as fast as I can. I see this game as not being one strictly controlled by me, and I'm considering helping others if they want to mod (or remix) this project.

Realm Trails spans itself over a variety of content allowing you to come back play for more with the handy dandy save function! Treat yourself to finding all 30+ character skins, experience the random maps and diverse bosses in order to make every run fresh and adventurous, and the big selection of the in-game catalog, skill upgrades, and magic boosts! All inpacked into one huge Scratch Infinite Tower Defense! Mix up your playstyle with different modes such as an endless onslaught of enemies, hard mode where enemies are scaled and bosses do double damage, or boss rush where every round is a Boss Round!
Suggestions & Connections
Realm Trails is currently a one-man project. I am open to any music, sound, texture, or coding suggestions or volunteers towards this project. I'm trying my hardest to wanting to make this project last a while and I need the help from you. Other than that, I developed this game other the idea of seeing many other tower defense games on Scratch and I wanted to take their best properties and weld them together to see what could happen… and here I am now.
I'm ready to play, where is it?
I highly recommend downloading the .sb2 via seeing inside the project and running the offline editor, it probably wont run at all on the scratch website. Sorry :/

So, what is Realm Trails?

- Attempted to fix what was causing Pausing to not work
- Changed Kelly's Ultimate cost to 9900
- Changed Kandy Bombs cost to 4500, and it now does 4 damage.

- Added Enhanced Retro Lazer and Doom Tracker

+ Some new weapons and blasts, including one to celebrate Scratch's 10th birthday!
* Max health now based on level and new quests. The upgrade now increases over base health by 10% instead of just increasing it by 100 points.
* Capped many values in order to fit save data. Level is now capped at 200.
* Fixed save codes not saving TotalGem count.

+ Added New “Arena Mode.” Unlocked at ranked 30, it allows the easy development of Realm Stones and Soul Gems in an onslaught of enemies.
+ New “Wave Booster” mode that helps you start out on a higher wave than normal compared to your in-game rank.
+ New Boss “Egg Guardian”
+ New Blast, “Rink of Extinction”
+ New catalog items or more late game pay. They range from 40k to 85k in cost.
- Removed Quests. I saw this feature as unneeded and really sloppy. I'll work on more ways to play in order to get Soul Gems for upgrades.

- Fixed Guardian Shot not having a different texture than Spiked Shot.
* Both Mace Weapons are now restricted to 3 frame shockwave.
