What do you mean by autoscroll? How does that differ from the scrolling covered in the wiki pages on Scrolling? (Have you looked at them?)

do you mean scolling text or a scrolling background.

if it is a auto-scrolling background, it is identical to a non-auto scrolling background but you cause it to scroll automatically by issuing the movement command in a loop with a wait rather than on a keypress.
