Scratch Merchandise (I know there are books)

Have you ever looked at the scratch characters (sprites) and ever thought, “I want a plushie of the cat!” Well, wouldn't it be cool to have a plushies of them?

I think that the ST doesn't want to make any merchandise. They want to focus on improving the site itself. I may be wrong though, so Semi-Support if they would accept such an idea.

Not necessarily. I like the idea, I just don't know if the ST will. Like I said, I very easily could be wrong, and they may like the idea of it.

Support. I really like Scratch Cat plushies, and I wish they were part of the merchandise.

Plushies are not as easily produced as buttons, t-shirts and stickers. You can very quickly and efficiently produce the 3 latter items, but you're gonna need manual work to get a plushie done.

That one is actually made by @cheddargirl. I got that image from the Scratch Wiki. It looks so cute! It definitely should have been for sale!

There should be this community that manufactures plushies.

Semi-support. While this is a great idea, plushies do take some time and money to make, like someone stated above.

That would be cool!

Maybe even scratch lego sets. There is a huge lego scratch cat at MIT anyway. Maybe downsize it?

Edit: Oh I'm sorry; this seemed to be asking specifically for a plush. Yeah, I don't think we have one of those yet. Bit harder to get runs of those made I imagine.

Hmmm…

It looks like to me they exist, but they are not for sale and are only distributed through Scratch day events.

Can't be sure, though. I would link the twitter link instead of just the picture, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to…
