Actually, it's 48 hours. And it's possible to bring back a deleted account, you need to use “contact us”.

(To the OP) Here's what I'd do:

1: Do you remember the name of your brothers' account? If not, do you remember one of the names of his projects? In that case, search the name of that project. If you don't remember the name of his account, you can also ask him what it was.
2: Go to “contact us”. It's under the “support” tab on the footer, or you can go to this link.
3: I'd select the topic “other”.
4: Type something along the lines of “Can you un-delete (your brother's username)?”, and the subject being something along the lines of “Un-delete an account”. Be sure to add your email as well.
5: Send your email.
6: When the ST responds, be sure to read what they've said.

Keep in mind that they might not respond immediately. They do get a lot of emails, so there's a pretty good chance it'll take a few days. Just be patient.

I remember, when I was banned, my account was deleted for about 18 hours. So the Scratch Team must have restored it - I guess you just need to be quick if you change your mind.

my main account @xxxelectroxz got deleted how do i get it back it just got deleted a few minutes ago i never did anything

literally i was just coding then all of a sudden it logged me out when i tried to sign back in it says my account got deleted its like ST is trying to delete me or something
