Another reason for my no supporting. You are basically trying to make it harder for Scratchers by making the follower limit 10X lower? No. This limit is fine. But I think it can be expanded by another 1,000.
Nah, it's fine. Otherwise Scratch Team would have made the limit 10,000.Okay…
Woah
Maybe it should be lower, like, 10,000.
Also I am curious what happens when you reach the limit.

Really? Those accounts should be banned, but I don't see a problem with follow everyone accounts run by actual people. Actually, some follow-everyone accounts are run by bots. There are certain protections (e.g. you can't follow too many people in a short amount of time) but yes, if a bot is following everyone, then it is causing harm because it's taking up memory on the servers.

No support.
While F4F can be annoying, it is also a start for some people. You can always put ‘no f4f’ on your profile and kindly say ‘I don’t do f4f'.
While follow-everyone accounts can also be annoying, its one notification that says Follow_Everyone followed you. They're just trying to spread some kindness.
While people who randomly follow others can be annoying, they may follow people out of kindness, or how good their projects are, or how nice they are.
I don't really see why this is a problem.

There is nothing wrong with F4F… I don't do it but just saying I think there should be a following limit of about 1000 because
-Stop Follow-Everybody accounts
-Stop accounts that are following people for no reason because I saw someone who's following over 5000 people I'm not joking
-Have less F4F but it isn't completely banned

People should follow people if they want, no to ask to get followed or even had one of the scratcher max their followers.
No support for that reason.

No, It's a maximum limit of how many people you can follow, not a max amount of followers People should follow people if they want, no to ask to get followed or even had one of the scratcher max their followers.
No support for that reason.

Exactly. No support. No support. If people want to follow other people at random why stop them? Every one uses Scratch in different ways and why should there be policing to people who want to follow everyone in an attempt to make others happy(even if it's a weak one). Follow everyone accounts aren't hurting anyone. Before you say Scratch isn't about popularity look at the front page. It can be discouraging to be rejected curration or featured or never be top remixed/loved but those sections are still up. People can ask for F4F if they want to, if you don't just say no, however it's when they push you after you say no it becomes a problem that you can just report.

No way, If there is a limit I'd be how many scratchers there are.

No support. F4F and follow accounts aren't a problem and they deserve to be respected.

It was annoying because I was using my test account to follow all the people I already was following.

I thought the limit was 10K, wasn't it? Out of every “follow everyone” accounts, I've seen some follow 10,000. Not less, not more. And apparently, they say they have reached “the limit”.
BTW, semi-support-ish, because although I do agree that people can do what they want, why would someone follow thousands of people anyway?

I support.
You're supposed to follow someone to be aware of he/she's activity on the website. But if you follow thousands and thousands of people, any scratcher activity would be hidden by the huge amount of datas you get non stop.

No support, there's already a maximum, why change it if Scratch Team themselves thought it work?
Also, shouldn't this be closed, since we found out @Paddle2See talked about how there is one currently? I dunno if it should but…

i'm trying to follow everyone on scratch.Every0ne does that as well. Although that's virtually impossible, as new Scratch accounts are made every day. Besides, trying to follow everyone defies the point of following.
As for this suggestion, I must say no support. There's no need to restrict Scratchers from giving other Scratchers support.

There is already a following limit. A single user can follow a maximum of 10K people.
