1. All students must be out of bed by 8:00
   
2. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 8:30
   
3. Students are not allowed out of the common room until 6:30 A.M., unless they have verbal or written permission from their House Head, Head Boy, Head Girl, or the Headmaster/Headmistress.
   
4. Unless for a reason reported to the Head of their House, students should not skip meals.
   
5. Students must stay in their common rooms after curfew, unless for the purpose of attending their Astronomy class. For first through fourth years, curfew is at 9:15. It is at 10:30 for fifth years and above.
   
6. With a signed permission slip from their parent or guardian, a student who is in the third year or above may visit Hogsmeade on weekends, until 10:00 A.M.
   
7. Students must attend both the Start-of-Term feast and the End-of-Term feast, unless they headmaster or headmistress gives both written and verbal consent for the student to miss the feast.
   
8. Uniform is mandantory for all classes and exams. It must also be worn in the common room, Hogsmeade, the Great Hall, the QUidditch field, and any other main place on the Hogwarts grounds.
   
9. Magic is not to be used outside of the common room, Room of Requirement, classes, or the Great Hall without supervission from a prefct, teacher, or the Head Boy and Girl.
   
10. Magic is always allowed to be used for self-defense or in an emergency.
    
11. Students are usually not allowed in faculty areas.
    
12. Prefects may be out of bed after hours if they are scheduled for patrol duty, but they must still remain within the castle during patrols.
    
13. The Forbidden Forest and Black Lake are forbidden without a teacher or adult escort.
    
14. The Restricted Section in the library is forbidden unless a signed note from a teacher is given to the librarian.
    
15. If you skip classes, you will lose house points.
