Question about this?

Yes, report them. It's making fun of other groups, and Scratch is meant to be a welcoming place to everyone.

Question about this?

I'd say report anything like this- it's disrespectful, offensive and doesn't belong on a site with a primarily young userbase.

Question about this?

Is the “white people dancing” joke okay, or is that offensive?

I don't like how people usually call the Sonic and My Little Pony fandoms “autistic”.

I think the term “autistic” to refer to something has slowly evolved on the internet into some form of slang, usually meaning “cringe-worthy” or something that you don't want to even look at. Most fandoms are labelled under that at some point in time on the internet.

However, it can be offensive to people that do indeed have autism, due to the way the word is used as something that is stupid or cringe-worthy through internet slang. You should not use the word in that way on Scratch.

YES! Feel free not to read this next bit about lefty discrimination…

Since the beginning of time, Lefties have been cast out, feared, and despised because we're different. The word Right comes from right, as in correct, while the word Left comes from old-English Lyft, which meant clumsy and broken. Superstitious people toss salt over their left shoulder to choke evil spirits that supposedly live there. The wedding ring originated in Greece, as a charm to ward off evil spirits that were associated with the left. In the Roman times, it was bad luck to be a lefty, and in the Victorian times lefties were flogged (whipped severely) even though Queen Victoria herself was one. Until the late 20th century, left-handedness was thought to be a sign of possession from evil spirits. Even today, at school, we may be forced to use our right hands, and are thrown Nicknames like “crack handed”. So be on the lookout for International Left-handers Day, on August 13.

Thank you for reading this far!

That is awful, I am a righty and one of friends is a lefty. I am actually ambidextrous, but I lean more to the right side (like I am more righty than lefty.)

Wow…. I've always wanted to be left handed, guess that was a bad idea

What about being ambidextrous? Since then you use BOTH hands….
In fact, lefties have better sound perception, problem-solving abilities, and a higher IQ on average. We are also better at Baseball, cricket, 1-1 sports, and fighting. Einstein, Leonardo De Vinci Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Angelina Jole (is that how you spell it?) Barack Obama, lady Ga Ga and Bill Bryson are just some of the famous lefties. Also, germanengland3, ZZ9PluralZAlpha and ForumHelper1 are all lefties!
But were ambidextrous people attacked?
No, because they could just pretend they were right-handed!
In fact, only 1% of the world are truly ambidextrous, including Steve Jobs, who many people think is a lefty. Most of the population thought to be ambidextrous are either cross-dominant (preferring different hands for different tasks) or in fact right or left-handed.

I am a little ambidextrous, but still not the best. I can only write with my left hand in cursive, too

I don't know about that joke. I can see how it's offensive, though.
And I hate when people use “autism” or “autistic” in that way. I have autism, in fact, but I'm rather smart.

Also, to whoever said that the “Caillou has cancer” joke was offensive (I think it was Litten?), I completely agree. My dad is mostly bald, but that doesn't mean he has cancer. And that side effect doesn't really happen with everyone.
I actually find every usage of cancer, autism, depression, or any type of disorder/disease/ethnicity/religion/nationality being used to insult someone (or similar reasons) not funny at all (in fact, I nearly want to throw something when I see one)

I hate when people say ‘your acting black/white’

The only time I find disorder jokes funny is when someone is using it to make fun of themselves (there was a guy on America's Got Talent who made fun of his stutter, and his jokes were actually funny)

So, for instance: ‘My cat has Asperger’s syndrome. Wow, that is the only thing we have in common….' Or something like that (idk, that is the first thing that popped into my head. I also was referencing the book ‘all cats have Asperger’s syndrome)

That is very offensive. Once a girl on my volleyball team got diagnosed with alopecia (alopecia is a disease where you lose all your hair) and she lost all her hair. It was very sad and I felt awful for her.

Exactly. I once found out that the whole reason Caillou is bald is because he was originally drawn as a baby and adding hair would make him unrecognizable.. It's not because he has any type of disease.
Also, that is sad.. And an example of why I hate the “you're bald so you have cancer” stereotype, or any non-serious usage of the term “cancer”. Another one of those is from an animator I really like who unfortunately passed away due to cancer a few years ago..
I really just find any jokes about diseases of any kind incredibly offensive..

Aw, that's so sad. I get really sad when I see people making fun of other people. Getting made fun of/ being bullied isn't any fun.

Yeah, I remember a ginger person asking to see a celebrity (in the red nose day comedy thing) while Ed Sheeran was on stage. Someone pointed that out and the woman said ‘Yeah, but he’s FBG. Famous but ginger'. I also hate when people say ‘that’s gay'. It's not, so don't say it

It isn't fun at all, take it from someone who got bullied for an entire school year last year..
And the death of that animator was definitely sad (especially considering he was 23).. When I heard about his death I barely could handle it.
The worst part is I've heard of people who made fun of his death.

I'm really sick of “you're ginger, so that means you're creepy and eat people's souls”.. I actually have a very good friend who's ginger and he's one of the nicest people I know.
And there is nothing wrong with being gay (or any part of the LGBT+ community). If you knew why I'm saying this, it's because my older sister is part of that community, and so am I.

It was me who said it.

I also found out why he is bald, but for some reason people still say he has cancer. which is why I hate the Caillou hate base
