Branch, a Scratch 1.4 mod, is back!
I love all of the Scratch mods out there, but very often I'll say to myself while using one, “I wish this mod had the special feature from that mod, because then I could do this thing.” My idea, then, is to create a big Scratch mod combining all of those features, and add many more new ones.
I made a small website at branchblocks.weebly.com to explain this a bit more and show all of the ideas I've come up with and found from other mods.
The Branch Team:
If you no longer want to be a part of making this mod let me know. There are currently no more spots for developers now, but you can sign up now and you can join later or if needed.

Mods for Scratch seem cool, but if I wanted to use one, how would I implement it into Scratch 2.0?

Hmm, maybe we should reactivate Branch? We could do that. Or, my new mod Explore could become Branch… Lots of my former ideas for Branch are in there. I'll post a download in an hour or so.

Okay, but we should add all Branch blocks into it. And - can you make an .exe compiler?

Okay, but we should add all Branch blocks into it. And - can you make an .exe compiler?Yeah, I think most of the Branch blocks are in it. In version 1.1, I'll add the rest.
And about the compiler: no, sadly I still don't. I can comment on some person-who's-made-a-mod's profile page and ask them about it if needed.

It's actually pretty easy to make a compiler based on Scratch2EXE - all you have to do is replace the Scratch image file with your modified one (I always replace most of the other files too just to be safe), and just change the code for exiting the project (completely close instead of go to scripts)…UI-Panes->button actions I believe. The only problem is that if your mod uses a different extension, the user has to manually change the extension to .sb for it to work.Okay, but we should add all Branch blocks into it. Explore is coming out soon. When it does, I'll post here and we (the Branch team) can decide if Explore becomes Branch or if the two mods develop separately.

I want to see It … SadActually, you can. Explore has everything that Branch did, times 100. One of the less obvious goals of Explore was to continue Branch.

Can I be part of the Branch/Explore Team. I can make a good logo, and help out with some of 1.4's errors with the source code. I can also create a real forum so then you can chat on there instead of here
