Hi,

I know 5th graders can do scratch easily but obviously I'm overeducated and over thinking. I managed to make a pen color to green but not sure how I did it. Now I would like to set change color to red and can't figure out how. Smiles.

You have to click it:

click the box and then anything red and it changes

You can also use the color menu that shows up

I did click it and nothing showed up but I finally got it red by playing around with the number values. Perhaps just a glitch in my system. Will try it again. Thank you so much.

Most of the time, you click on it, and then click the color somewhere on your screen that you want it to change to.

Oh, right. If you click the block, but not the square, it will cycle through a couple colors

There are several different color systems in Scratch for the pen. Read the help files.

Here is a project that shows you all the pen colors in one of the systems, the one that uses the block with the round hole, not the square hole…
