Make A New Sprite/Costume

Whenever I try to create a new costume or sprite it doesn't create. I started a new project and made a new sprite. After I made the the 1st costume it never did anything until I clicked save, so then I made another one. Saved, new, saved, new, saved and so forth. What's wrong with it?

What browser? I quit using Safari because of that

i draw some an animation for a sprite walk and i want to make it a sprite with more than one costume so how can i do that ?

Theres a problem where the color of the sprite will get inverted. (only one colored sprites like sensors) I made sensors Pink and Blue but when I loaded the project they were dandelion and lime/light green. Can you please fix this?

Above the section where you can take the blocks for programming from are three tabs: scripts, costumes and sounds. Click the sound tab and the sound section will open. there you can see all the sprites costumes. Above these there're again some tabs:

Choose costume from library
This will link you to the scratch library of costumes where you can choose one.
paint new costume
This will open a new costume you can edit in the paint editor on the right side in the costume section.
Upload costume from file
This will link you to the explorer of your computer where you can choose an image to upload.
New costume from camera
I'm not quite sure (because I've never use this) but I think you can take a picture with your webcam (if you have one)
then as a costume.

By clicking on one of the costumes in the costume sections it'll appear in the paint editor on the right side and you can edit it there.

How about refreshing the page, soniccoolers45? It would help to do that because Scratch is sometimes slow. You may also be using the wrong browser for Scratch. I use Mozilla Firefox. And the sprite not doing something you ask it to until you click it, I have that problem sometimes, but refreshing the page always helps.
