This is more of a news post than an informative post on trademarks and Scratch. I think another section of the post on how things work out for trademarks and such would be worth adding.

I think we should change the name to Scratch animation Hall of Fame instead. It shows that it's made by scratch but won't take time to change to.

There is something else to consider – the animation hall of fame has to show that it has a history of defending it's trademark/copyright so that if there IS a commercial violation, it stands a better chance in court. If they DON'T send out the letters, there is a possibility that they would lose control of their trademark/copyright later on because they didn't defend it against all infringement.

I still think it's stupid, but it's life.
