Scratch Extension ideas:


Profile 2.0:
Profile contains a pop up of the scratcher.
Features of this extension allow customization.
Motto (Description of user)
Loved projects (Number of projects loved by this user)
Favorited projects (Number of projects favorited by this user)
Remixed projects (Number of projects remixed by this user)
Customizable background (Customize your background for the profile pop up)
Posts (Shows how many scratch discussion posts you have posted)
Comments (Shows how many comments in total you have made on studios, profiles and projects)

TTS:
Text to speech blocks
Example: if TTS = Word (HI) say word hello.

Profile Color:
Customize your profile page color. Tired of the color white? Pick a profile color or import a file off of your own device.
Filtering mode will block any bad images.

Discussion search:
Addon to the search button, adds a new tab. Rather than searching projects and studios, it will add discussions.

EV3 Connection blocks:
Allows you to connect the Mindstorms EV3 to your device and manually operate it from scratch.mit.edu.

BotReminders:
Extension bot. Set a specific time, date, ETC. sends you a message in your mailbox.

Random projects:
Random projects section, Kind of like shared projects, but it shows random projects that cycle through every 24 hours.

Mailbox filter:
Blacklist user feature allows you to not be notified when a certain user messages you.
Friend user feature allows you to link to their pages through the Scratch mailbox feature.

TTS: Already exists
The other suggestions: Extensions only add blocks to the editor, not features to the website. If you want to suggest features to the website, do so in the Suggestions forum.

Hmm… not always, dear scratcher. What about IsOnline? That modified the website too. This is why scratch extensions that enable the website to do more would allow more creativity, like page customization.

isOnline is a Chrome or Firefox extension, not a Scratch extension. The forum “Developing Scratch Extensions” is for discussion of Scratch extensions. This sticky describes what this forum is for, and this one describes what Scratch Extensions are. (Please remember to read stickies in order to understand what each forum is about.) If you want to discuss the development of browser extensions for Scratch, the best place to do so is probably the Advanced Topics.
