I know it may sound weird, but I really enjoy using scratch, and I would like to convert it to an swf file so I can post my animations on youtube too, some people say that you can use a free recording software, but it doesen't work well, makin the animation all crappy and laggy(I tried sooo many times in the past)
There is a way of making it possible, or at least there's a mod that can do that?

There isn't, but it could be coming soon.

You can make an html file with your project, though, by clicking the Share To button under your project and copying the code to a website or HTML file.

This would actually be very possible (probably easier than Scratch2EXE.) All you'd have to do would be put the project file in the archive with your flash player and somehow get it to play it. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with Flash, so I can't do this myself.

Yeah, 'cause html is a web-layout programming language for websites and things like that. Otherwise, it would be so easy…

If you want to upload an animation made in Scratch to YouTube, I would suggest recording it with CamStudio. These videos can be recorded as SWFs, & have legitimate quality.

Simply capture the animation with Camtasia, then do the rendering as MP4 or HTML (if interactive, but you have to add some flash hot spots).

I suppose it could theoretically be possible to make something like this, by playing the project and recording, but I'm not sure how.

Get 1.4, use Scratch2EXE, use one of the many exe to swf convertes, bam.
