And if they put a smart aleck-y answer, clearly make it sarcastic, and then put the real answer after, I'd assume it's fine?

Yes, that would be spamming.
However, the user only does this occasionally (because I think that answering with sarcasm to every serious question is kinda rude honestly).

Still flag. There's no point in giving a sarcastic answer when the question can be answered directly.
