One more issue with this - you can’t directly demonstrate wiki formatting if needed. On the forums, we use BBcode. On the Wiki, we use MediaWiki markup. You can’t demonstrate one with the other, and there are things wiki markup can do that BBcode never dreamed of. For this last reason:

No support.

Again, with the compromise, there is no need for Wiki Markup support. If people need Wiki markup help, the CP can be used.

Semi-Support. I like the idea of one for every wikian, but the others seem to just exclude Scratcher's, which is something I discourage.

The SDS forum is only open to SDS curators.
I dont understand what the problem with excluding other scratchers is anyway. It's not discriminatory…

Not being able to edit the wiki already makes it seem too exclusive - if we added a forum that they couldn’t post in it would get worse.

Well it isn't really a problem since most users don't know what either the forums or the wiki are.

Full support. I get annoyed when I want to post something about the wiki but there's no section for it.

EDIT: Couldn't you just do it on the community portal?

Honestly, I don't see this becoming a feature since the Scratch Team is trying to distance themselves from the wiki.

Hey guys, please don't necropost. This topic is 3 years old and I'm not interested in it anymore. If you still want this, please create a new topic.
