1. I can't see any useful applications of this.
2. Right-clicking opens a menu because of Flash. Scratch cannot change Flash.

Blocky, a young guard block, guards my signature from kumquats. Still trying to teach him how to shoot the kumquat instead of my signature. By the way, all these coloured URLs still work. Cool, huh? (Sorry for the insane bolding, italicising and underlining. :P)

could make sense, but i really don't see the necessity of the both option.

i guess just have all of them just to stop this arguing, it saves a bit of time anyways.

You must be running on an old version of Scratch/Flash then, because that glitch was fixed a year ago.

You’ve got confused. This is the block here:

Tend toward not support for the new block because clicking is very basic to Scratch and it makes clicking a more complicated subject to a new Scratcher. And for tablets, phones, and other touchscreens, a single touch (or click) is the basic common input.

If I were a new scratcher, I’d be more confused about

Please actually test it before saying this. When I opened up a project, played it, and then used right click, no menu pops up.

Do you mean in the editor? In the OP, I already stated that there would no longer be a right-click menu in the editor player, but still in other parts of the editor.

I like this idea, but people that use a Touchpad don't have the middle button. Anyways support, since HTML supports right click, and would help a lot since only left click is a bit boring, and for example if you want to do a right click function you have to workaround with the left click like this:

We never use the word “right click” after Scratch 3.0 - sometimes without mouse or keyboard

The conflict with the right click menu in the editor is not a major issue. You already have to back out to the player if your project involves clicking and dragging sprites, and that doesn't cause huge problems.

If they really wanted to, they could make it so that the right click menu is disabled when the project is running.

As for mobile users, projects using the keyboard will still exist and probably always be more common than projects using right click. I would propose an option to filter the site so it only shows mobile projects, but that would be another topic.
