I'm part of a six-person app development team, and we would love to share our app with you that we've been working on for over 2 years. We're all huge fans of Scratch, which you'll be able to quickly see if you try Rheti out.

Basically Rheti is an app that lets you build Android apps on your phone, without writing traditional code. The apps it makes are completely native, and we let you build and host them for free. We built Rheti because there aren't any good app builders out there that include an easy way to create a UI and a backend, and we wanted to change that. We want it to be like the WordPress for Android apps.

Last week we made it possible to use Scratch within Rheti to create your own app components. Just like the rest of Rheti you create the components on your phone. If you use Rheti to create an app with Scratch you'll be able to very quickly create a UI that is just the way you want it, you'll be able to incorporate a backend, and you'll be able to publish and host for free.

I hope this doesn't come off sounding like an advertisement because what we really want is just to add to the community and see what you think. Right now we are in private beta testing, so you have to sign up via our site and we'll let you in. So please give it a try and let us know!
