So, here is the topic- should role play be allowed?
Role play on scratch is usually done in studios, where you make a character and act out a story with someone else. I do it occasionally, and it can be very entertaining.
I was interested to see other's thoughts on this topic.
The pros of Role play are- You can have fun and can develop ideas for a story, and your character can have superpowers, and be whoever you want
Cons- There can be topics for role play that get many people reported, and it can lead to violence.
Is Scratch the place to Roleplay?

Yes, you can roleplay, BUT, if you get too uh, explicit, that's not allowed.

At the moment, it appears to be a question. I'll answer it. Yes, roleplay is allowed on Scratch, so long as the themes and language are kept appropriate for all Scratchers. We think it is cool that Scratchers invent stories here - and they often use Scratch to supplement the roleplay with pictures and character biographies

As long as it's not on the forums it's not exactly distracting anyone if they don't want it. Those who want to role play can.

It's okay, in fact, it's great! Roleplaying is actually something that improves your mind - even young kids roleplay if you've seen them play “house” or when they play with their toys.
Just so long as nothing gets really inappropriate or if it's done somewhere distracting, it's all good.

Yes, but only roleplay without being explicit or making any other scratcher upset. If anyone is unhappy then you stop. You should be fine if you're roleplaying someone that isn't inappropriate or if they allow you to roleplay them and if everyone is happy. (Like me!)

I think it is, after all i like roleplaying! so i guess it isn't THAT bad, but just don't get to excited

I think banning roleplay is just like banning Scratch projects. Anything could have the potential to contain inappropriate material and if this is the case it will be reported and removed.

I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as they are appropriate then it's a great thing to do!

If it follows the community guidelines, yes. In the forums? no. And i wouldn't recommend doing the roleplay on your profile. probably a studio would be best for it.

RPG it suitible for everyone well depend on the violence and other stuff like that

I like to roleplay but sometime roleplaying has you know, stuff that scratch does not like, not the explicit words though
