Welcome!
Here you can discuss the game Lego Worlds.
Within Lego Worlds you can go to randomly generated “worlds” and complete quests to get Golden Bricks!
Golden Bricks unlock special items, bigger worlds and higher ranks.
The highest rank is “Master Builder” and it allows you to create worlds! (I'm still trying to get the 100 bricks )
Discuss the game here! What you have created, what you have discovered and, most importantly, how many bricks you have!

I really want the game!
Too bad it's only on consoles that I don't have or plan on having.
There is always the computer version, though…
Please tell me that driving in this game is like driving in LEGO City Undercover.

I haven't played LEGO City Undercover, but I assume you have. What is driving like in LEGO City Undercover?
Also I'm in the middle of finding a golden key to open a dungeon chest and my method of finding said key is to use the “Big Bomb” (I found this item in a normal chest) to blow everything up until I find the golden key. I'm so happy I found the Big Bomb!
I also blew up a town recently, I made it from 2.4 million whatever the currency is called to 3.1 million by destroying the whole town! I'm on 93 golden bricks right now! Just 7 more and I'll be a Master Builder!

Driving has simple controls:
On the Wii U versions you use A or ZL to drive, B or ZR to brake/reverse, Y to boost (if your vehicle can boost), shake the Wii U Gamepad to jump in the vehicle, X can be used to enter and exit a vehicle. Vehicles fall apart as they take damage, too.
I really hope you can build your own vehicles in LEGO Worlds.
Can you?

Sadly, most building is just placing bricks individually. You can't build vehicles and the controls for building are abhorrent, especially on the PC. The game was designed for controllers and no effort was put in for making the keyboard work.
And if you want to build a big house with lots of color and detail, first you'll have to collect every single brick individually (unless your on PC and have access to save modification tools) and place every single brick individually with no undo button, having to switch colors in a different tab and windows / doors and in the discovery menu meaning you have to put away your building tool, take out your discovery tool, go into the discovery menu, scroll until you find a window / door, select it, place it with the discovery tool and to paint it you need the paint tool. Really, if you're getting the game for building and you don't want to spend hours working on simple things, don't get the game. If you want a game where you can explore (just like how most people like No Man's Sky), get the game.
I don't like comparing things to No Man's Sky because it gives a bad impression, but in the case of LEGO Worlds, the comparison has to be made. There's no point building because everything is on different worlds. And by the time you can settle down on a single world without having to unlock anything, you will have completed the entire game and everything it has to offer will just be exploration and the poor implementation of building. In the trailer they show people building a dinosaur, but unless you have a controller building doesn't work like that, and still it doesn't even auto-move like they show, that would be done with quick button presses. And to get those right it will need practice.

Oh, and did I mention, to collect bricks you have to rely on an RNG system based on an RNG system. You have to pray and hope that a weird green creature will come out of the gorund and then pray that he'll have a brick you wanted and not just a golden brick and then spend about a minute (you have to catch up and if you get close enough you can get the brick) chasing him, press a single button and get the brick. It's not fun trying to get bricks.
And in my time playing the game (I've played about 20 hours of the game) I've only unlocked maybe 10 bricks all thanks to RNG.

I have a feeling that the game was idealized for consoles, like a lot of multi-platform games…
Maybe the auto-walk thing and vehicle building aren't in the PC version yet and will maybe be added in as DLC or a patch..
