Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone could help me on sidescrolling in landscape? All I could find anywhere else was how to make sidescrolling games, platformers, etc…

What do you mean sidescrolling in landscape? Do you want help with drawing the art for a sidescroller? If that is what you are looking for you should post this is requests and someone there could help with helping. If it is about scripts can you describe what you mean help with sidescrolling in landscape if the how to make results were not what you were looking for.

What is “landscape” that it would be different from a game?

Do you understand the basic concept of scrolling? That the background is composed of multiple sprites. That the player sprite does not move, but the background sprites move instead?

For a landscape, imagine three pieces of paper that represent the left, middle, and right third of the landscape.
Construct a little viewer only big enough to show one piece of paper.
Tape the papers together to form one long triple sheet.
Slide it under the viewer and pull it.
That is scrolling.
