"Random letters" spam

Doing this,
fshsfgjsgjggdkjdjsyhwtbzfhsbfshjsfkgiroeyug grdjgryjdgjegnegjdgGsntekeyjegnegdgk Sghsgjdhjdgjndg dgjjsghgsjsttjssyjjssjdydj
Is technically considered spam.
Essentially, that's a long string of random letters.
It's considered spam, but in which cases exactly?:

1: Commenting some random letters on a user's profile, but not in an attempt to spam them (for example, sometimes my friend and I just type random letters to each other, usually “asdfghjkl” which is often just used as “I'm bored”)

2: Putting it in your own AM/WIWO, project/studio descriptions, signatures, etc.

3: ..Doing whatever this is?

If you relentlessly comment useless things then yes. Otherwise, if you guys are having fun (doing so on each other's profile) then I guess it's okay (since you two are expecting it).

Seems fair enough.

I think the only real good time to do it is really if you're both friends and of course you're just having fun.
Other than that, another good time would be to use it when you're very surprised. Take this example.
“Did you know that griffpatch loved your project?”
“Asdfjhqoin?! No way!”
Random example.

I can see that. Ironically enough on my main account one of my friends commented on one of my projects “This is amazing!!!!” and added “asdfghjkl” at the end I'm the same way sometimes-

Yeah, as long as you two are friends I would say that is fine!

I think your siggy is OK, too.

Hi, and Welcome to my signature! It doesn't change that often, but, hey, might be intresting to read; you never know (or at least not until you read it.) If you've got this far, it's pretty obvious that you're reading this to see just how intresting it is. Yes, you're reading this to see if there's a bonus bit at the end. You have to satisfy your natural curiosity and see how it turns out. Well, I dare you to stop…
You couldn't do it, could you? Sorry, you lost! Bye now!

I'm pretty sure this post is resolved. Not to mention that it's about a month old.
