Hello. I have used Scratch for a couple years now, and learned a lot. I would almost consider myself a professional. I study and self educate. When Scratch 2.0 came out I was exited. Soon after, I decided to join the website. (I almost always use the offline version for my creations) When I heard about Scratch Cloud, I was amazed. I saw other multiplayer games, and thought to myself; I should make games like that. I've had so many games that would have been great on multiplayer, like a pixelated tank wars game I made, with advanced AI; or my Third Person Shooter platformer game, styled like Minecraft, and including many weapons. I have made hundreds of things, but few worth sharing.

I couldn't figure out how to make the multiplayer games work. I didn't know what variables would be cloud-stored. I also couldn't play the multiplayer games on the website with other players. I thought to myself: “What is up with this?” I later discovered I need the Scratcher rank. I was a little dissapointed, as 11 hours of studying and testing went down the drain.

Here is where I ask. May I be promoted so I can expand my knowledge and bring powerful games to the community?

You can only become Scratcher after you have met certain requirements, sadly. I think you need to have around 8 projects shared (I had about ten when this account became Scratcher), your account has to be at least 2 weeks old, and I think you also have to make some comments on other peoples projects and use the forums some, although I don't know if forums are a requirement. The ST does not promote users manually. It is done via a scipt run every night (Scratch Time) automatically.

Some of the requirements (not going into detail) to help you though!

-Create some projects.
-Comment several times on other projects.
-Be active for quite a while.
