If it's just about GPIO / legos, you might as well reimplement the extension in native Squeak. If it's for extensions in general, just consider carefully why you want this feature and whether it's really such a good idea.

The problem with just re-implementing the extension in native Squeak is that a GPIO extension probably won't be the last extension that needs to be developed, and not everybody knows squeak as well as they know python or javascript. I might be able to provide some kind of python library to interface with Whiskers and create extensions, but I don't know how I will go about doing it.

Changes to how the Windows installer will download: the button will take you to a page where you can download the latest version.
This is so GH won't email me every time I update the site.

The next version will also have a custom icon on the exe!

I still need Linux instructions as well as having someone look at the Raspberry Pi instructions to make sure they are up-to-date.

Also, if someone wants to make a macOS installer, that would be great!

+1 for keeping RSC as that is what my ScratchGPIO uses on the Pi

Although I can enable it by loading in a 1.4 project that has already enabled it - it would be nice to have menu option to do it within Whiskers
(Shift-click extra item on Edit menu maybe?)

Tested Whiskers on Squeak 6.0 alpha and 5.0 and it's not much faster compared to Blockode with 6.0 and 5.0.

I can assume that 6.0 is faster.

I just updated the Windows installer. It is still .9a5, but I gave the EXE a new icon and removed unnecessary files to make the download smaller.
