Become a Curator on the Scratch Homepage

Hello, members of the Scratch Team. I would like to apply for the curator position.

Here are the types of projects I might curate:
— projects made by unpopular scratchers
— OS (operating system)
– projects with good graphics
— projects that obviously took a lot of effort
— platformers

Proud founder and member of The Scratch Globe newspaper.

I'd curate projects that are under viewed and/or impressive for the coding or art. I won't ever curate my own projects. Or accept any recommendation unless the project is amazing and is not made by the scratcher who sent it
This would be my criteria for projects I curate:
-Projects with impressive coding
-Projects with impressive art
-Projects that I feel deserve more views
-Projects that use cloud data in a way that allows it to be something amazing

My guidelines if I became curator and someone recommended a project to me:
-Projects that are remixes with small changes to the coding or art won't be accepted
-Projects that I feel the creator rushed to make will not be accepted
-Projects that were done as a collaboration won't be accepted only because both creators can't get credit.
-Projects that are simple and predictable uses to cloud data, unless the art makes up for it

Hi, although I am a scratcher I am a fairly new one who absolutely loves scratch. I love projects of all sorts and I especially love unknown gems on scratch whether being scratchers or projects or even studios. Recently I have seen many good projects on scratch which aren't popular but should be. So if I were curator I would post:
• Minigames
• Platformers
• Operating systems
• Animations
• Misc fun projects
• (Maybe) Educational projects

I would like to be a scratch curator. If I were allowed this privilege I would post:

-games
-awareness projects
-animations

I see many projects that the scratch team doesen't see and they all deserve to be featured. I think that everyone should have a chance to get a project featured and to make more people feel good I will not show more than one project bt the same person. I will not show projects that have alreadt been featured so other people get a chance to be featured. I think I could help scratch become a fairer community. This may be short but it would mean a lot to me if I were allowed this priviledge.

Ever since one of my projects was curated, I have wanted to become a curator myself! My projects were never very popular until one project got curated so needless to say, I was very happy when I began receiving love-its, favorites, and positive comments. My excitement drove me to work harder on my newest games, greatly improving my skill set. It was a very inspiring experience for me, and as curator I would want to motivate others, whether they are young or old, to produce higher quality games, simulations, animations, or artwork. Curating unnoticed projects will give Scratchers a chance to receive critical feedback that helps them improve as programmers. I know from experience that support from the community is key, which I would be able to provide for less popular and new users. I think that I will be able to successfully fulfill the position of curator because I will strive to select diverse projects that show hard work and effort, as well as I will provide Scratchers with an experience they will never forget! My goal would be to increase each Scratcher selected's imagination, determination, creativity, love of learning, and love for programming. I have loved Scratch ever since I started using it, and I want others to love and enjoy it just as much as I do!

I would curate a wide range of projects including:

Educational Projects Example
Cliff Hanger is a fun way to test your math skills, and could be fun for all ages!

Fun and Simple Games Example
Yoshi Sprint brings memorable graphics and fun game-play together with appealing music and simple controls!

Fun and Complex Games Example
Neon Dash shows clear cut effort with its story-line and impressive game mechanics!

Animations Example
The Experiment is an overall creative and well done animation that deserves more attention!

Projects that utilize some of Scratch's newer features (Such as clones or cloud variables!) Example
Rise of Apophis ingeniously uses clones to create full featured platforming levels, all with one sprite.

Simulations Example
Farm Frenzy is a Work-in-progress simulation that has solid programming, and shows lots of potential to be a great game!

I do realize that being curator is a serious position that requires effort, and I am willing to put in the time and hard work! If I am selected I will make sure that I meet every requirement and responsibility for the position!

If i was a curator I would add a lot of projects:
_Games that need really a great habilitie with Scratch
_Good projects that haven't got enough attention
_Some Amazing Operative Systems
_Great animations
_And other kinds of projects

Hello, I want to be in this because I think that you should be able to see some of the best projects. I would mainly select some of the following.

Fun, simple games with easy controls
Complex programming but simple enjoyment
Imaginative, smart videos and projects
Great projects that deserve more attention
Entertaining stories and videos
Creative art
Enjoyable music
Great projects!

I understand if you do not choose me, because of the great number of entrants, but thank you for considering me and I hope to make Scratch a better place by making great projects greater.
