But it's still ironic and a bit confusing. It would make more sense to change it to what I said, and it wouldn't necessarily change that.

I don't think it's ironic or find it confusing. It is just an interesting consequence of choosing to remix a remix of your project.

Lots of Scratchers thought it unnecessary (or forgot). That's why the wording was changed to give thanks.

But then why does it thank you? Surely Scratch Team would have chosen different wording if they did not want you to thank you.
