No Support. Scratch can't work on a 3Ds, but it might work on other devices.
The 3DS can actually run HTML5 to a certain extent. Wikipedia: Internet Browser (Nintendo 3DS) Given the minor system requirements for Scratch, the 3DS can handle it. (It is the equivalent of a 64 bit OS I believe.) So it would be should be able to run Scratch 3.0, and HTML5 may not even be needed if it were as a cartridge instead.

Sorry, but I don't think the 3DS has a big enough screen for all of the blocks.
Also remember that it is two screens, as the name implies.

The main thing is that the 3DS doesn't really need to run Scratch.
Also, if I didn't mess any data up, it should be able to run 3.0 on the internet browser fine, albeit a bit slowly given the internet browser's loading time. The only thing that should be stopping it now is lack of a flash player.

Actually, after testing it for myself, it could only load the login screen.
Yeah but I don't think the Scratch Team would add this.

I don't support the idea, I just was stating that that technically isn't true.

Although, despite having a good enough processor, when I tested it, the 3DS was not able to load Scratch due to the page being too large. I suppose this is because Nintendo's main priority was not the Internet Browser.

Clearly.

I remember trying to load Animal Jam on my Wii's internet browser at age 7 or something. Lol.

I think this is a good idea if Nintedo allow it. The 3DS should have plenty of ower for thiand the Scratch team have already learnt a new language because Scratch 1.4 and below was written in Squeak.

it's a great idea, but just wouldn't work. besides, if a 3ds had flash, you could use the 3ds' internet browser to use scratch instead.

If you actually try to go there, the page just doesn't exist.

While I would support this as I would like to use Scratch on my 3DS I don't think this is possible due to technical limitations and there not being people willing to spend enough time to make this work. There is also the fact that if Nintendo does not like this they can take down Scratch for the 3DS if there was one.

i saw the video. ( it had a different language but i have a DS) the person had scratch on a computer like system, then with a photo system, the person scanned a code, then the magic happened.

when green flag clicked
play sound [ PINK FLUFFY UNICORNS DANCING ON RAINBOWS AND THEY ARE MAGICAL!!v] until done
move (somewhere to the fluffy cloud take 4) steps
say [PINK FLUFFY UNICORNS] for (2) secs

did the magic come from pink fluffy unicorns, or maybe he/she designed it…

In 3.0, Scratch will no longer need flash to work. I don't know how exactly, but the admin Paddle2See has said this was one of the main goals.
unrelated note, but this is lion's side account. sorry i wasn't more clear

removing flash does not mean it no longer works on computers.

Sorry, but any DS device will not be able to handle the power of Scratch.
No, I've fiddled with my 3DS a few times and I managed to get Scratch 1.4 on it.
