Why do people make test accounts?

I have always been wondering why they do. Does anybody know?

So they can release “test” projects. The reason I made mine, was to see how certain projects would function online, but I didn't want them clogging up my main account.

There are a lot of other reasons. For example, they could be used to create projects showing off a bug in the Scratch software that needs to be fixed, or be used to test out websites bugs.

I mostly use mine to share projects I am making to help people out with scripts. I also used to use it for testing cloud data and testing how projects worked online on the old site.
