As the title states I want to delete my Scratch account as it's full of unfinished games, broken games, just bad games and all the rest. It's the worst to look at cause it's full of bad content that is cringy to look back on. So how do I delete my account?

I don't think you can delete the account itself, but you can delete everything that is in the account. The only thing left would be the user name.

The username forever stays stored in the system.


You go to account settings, (find in the dropdown menu when signed in at the top-right) and click “I want to delete my account”. Click that, type your password and delete. Doing this will stop anyone from accessing your profile, but does not delete your projects and studios, and does not unfollow you followers or unfollow from who you follow. (You have to do this part manually to unfollow and delete projects)

If you do delete your account directly, the projects still can be found.

I don't have any experience with deleting any of my accounts, but – when you click on the “next step” button on the “delete my account” page, it shows you this prompt:



So you could select “delete my projects” if you want.

I once deleted my old ALT I forgot about.
So here's how:
1: Go to settings.
2: Click “I want to delete my account”.
3: Follow the directions.

Of course, in 48 hours (2 days) you can change your mind by logging back in.
If you just want the account but not the projects, throw all of them in “trash”.
