Maybe. It's iffy; depends on the view of the creator if they were to see this. It's an animation of sorts, but it's not too complicated at all and just seems to be distributing the song with a fancy background instead of being used in a project that didn't have it as the main focus.

Let's say I made a mashup, and put a project of it out, would it be taken down because It's technically a load of songs with fancy layering on it, or…?

So… I'm guessing that games, animations, music videos, AMVs, PMVs, MAPs, and that kind of stuff that feature music are okay.

But, what if you're showcasing a piece of art or something, or a collection of your art? Can you put music in that, or is that a no-no?!

That should be Ok. The projects that are getting removed are ones which purpose is to share music created by someone else. If music by someone else is just accompanying the art you're showcasing, then as long as you give the appropriate credit, then it's absolutely fine.

It's basically any project that has the music as the main focus. If it's something like an art dump or whatever where the ART is the main focus, then that's okay.
