table of visual programming languages

A friend sent me a pointer to this page of screenshots from various visual programming languages:

Several are Scratch-like (some Scratch-derived) block/script languages, but others are dataflow-based, for example. Most are aimed at adults doing real work, not kids.

This is a great thing to show students who ask "When are we going to do real programming?"

Because it's a music making software, and I wouldn't classify it as a programming language at first thought. However, it does make sense that the flow chart bit would be considered one.

…Woah. There's this thing called Tynker on there, and… it's pretty much a duplicate of Scratch!
