Please make the time in the forums local to the user and not just for those in America or wherever the time is set.

Support. The only problem with this is that you'd actually have to put in a proper place and not just make a joke out of it, but I think that having the correct time will be worth it for people who are confused anyway.

I also have it at 20:40 right now, and I am using Antarctica, so I am not sure where the wiki got the information.

All times are currently set to EDT (UTC -4).I also have it at 20:40 right now, and I am using Antarctica, so I am not sure where the wiki got the information.Exactly, I'm pretty sure it's that same timezone for everyone.
We could definitely set location and time zone separate from one another. I think that will give the most accurate time available while providing the freedom for Scratchers to choose their location as needed.
I definitely would like something like this (taken from the TBG Forums I go on):

Something that coufused me already way too often is that the time when I posted something seems to be some sort of american time. Probably the time at the MIT. But since I'm from germany, the time is completely wrong, especially in the summer time (yes, in the summer time everything is one hour earlier so it's bright in the evening. Should save power), and that's why I would like to have the option to enter a time zone or getting an automatic time zone depending on the location entered (but for example russia has like 10 different time zones).
Would that be possible? In other forums (the Arduino forum) this option is available, so it's somehow possible.
Maybe you can even choose between 24 hours and 12 hours with am and pm.

Whatever BST means. I think that about 95% of users don't belong to this lucky group.

You enter your location when you sign in so I would guess that it uses that …

Yeah… I'm in Pacific time zone… It says the right time for me, but it is in military time, which I do not like.

I support this, I live in Australia and when it hits 12:00 it says my post was yesterday

Support! I personally know the math for timezones (mine is PST so subtract 3 from the time) but the EST thing can be annoying for scratchers that don't live in the US or live past the International Date Line.
