open 2 tabs
Sign out on both of them
sign into a new account on one tab
on the other sign into the main account
on the new one follow your main account

The quirks of followers...

I used dev tools + Dev HTTP client to capture and spoof the request. It makes sure things like the CSRF code all work out. You just need to copy all the headers from a valid follow request and only change the name in the url - if that makes any sense at all.
