Minceraft!

And no, I can type.

when playing pc, not sure about X360, there is a 0.01 percent chance for the screen to say minceraft instead of minecraft.
Don't forget the references they put on the title screen.
“Slightly less addicting than TV Tropes!”

“Consummate V's! CONSUMMATE!”

Ah, but here's a little easter egg: In Super Mario 3D Land, you can get a * ton of lives to last you forever. However, if you max out the lives (1,110), you get an orchestrated version of the 1-up sound, followed by applause.
Also, in Super Mario Bros 3, if you collect 49(?) coins in 1-4, when you get back to the world map, a white toad house appears. Go inside and get a warp whistle. Not sure if that's an easter egg or Zelda 1-level cryptic stuff.

In OoT (Ocarina of Time) before going through the doors to beat Ganon, you look around and there is a dying soldier you can talk to. Its pretty emotional.

I think they're called Hell Valley Sky Trees. Also, I accidentally stared into Jeff's and Smile Dog's eyes when searching for that. Don't ever Google “Jeff” or “Smile Dog”, by the way. Nightmare fuel.
Is Smile Dog another name for Smile.jpg? I saw a picture by that name of a smiling dog on a Vsauce video. It really creeped me out.
Correct. I thought I had gotten used to Jeff the Killer and Smile Dog, and if I saw it, I'd simply groan. Haha, I was proven wrong!
Look closely and you'll see that Jeff is actually a close-up of the Slenderman (don't even begin with how badly photoshopped he is) with black curtains behind him. The contrast is messed up that it looks like his hair. Then, there is a badly copy-and-pasted mouth and nose added with (I don't know how and why) eyes that look like they've been drawn in MS Paint. I feel like the creator got tired by this point and just stuck them on without adding effects to make them fit in.

Smile.dog is just a picture of a husky with a hand behind him. Looks like the creator used Photoshop to add red eye and smudge the face into a smile. Smile.jpg is basically a high-contrast version. Both are poorly photoshopped and start to lose their shock value after multiple views.

Ah, okay. I wondered about Smile Dog. To me, it looked like someone accidentally took a picture of their husky while it was in a weird pose, and they thought, “Hey, this could be creepy if I photoshopped it a little.” Jeff's picture, on the other hand, never really scared me. I always thought that it just looked weird.

Funny story, I had that accidentally downloaded on my other computer and never knew what it was…
Woah, really? Also, the old low contrast dark version of Smile Dog doesn't scare me. It's just another image to me. The high contrast one with the visible, er, scare-alert, hand, that scares me.
Hmm, this topic is really straying…

When I saw it, it looked sort of like some guy accidentally took a picture of his dog that turned out to look a little creepy. The picture looked altered to me, possibly in an effort to make it even creepier.

A few years ago, I got an email from an unknown address titled “How do you like my smile?” I just deleted it and never opened it. I'm kind of glad I did. Now that I'm thinking about Smile Dog, I'm kind of worried what could have been in that email.

In the trailer for Need for Speed: The Run, if you pause at 0:31, you can see someone from an entirely unrelated game. Not spoiling it, it's really funny.

So that's what Chell did after she got out Aperture Laboratories, she became a racer.

In Batman: Arkham City, there are some messages you have to decode with your hacking device spread around the city which hint to the story of Arkham Knight.

In the Saints Row series, you can find a hidden easter bunny in each game.

In Saints Row 2, the bunny appears from the sea after following a trail of arrows.
In Saints Row: The Third, the bunny is tied to a ship.
In Saints Row IV, it appears most notably as the special logo that Kinzie leaves in one of the missions.

They are also hidden throughout the map, this wiki page has more info: http://saintsrow.wikia.com/wiki/Cabbit

In Kirby Super Star, you can see Mario characters in the crowd of the King Dedede battle for the first one you do (where you get the food).
