Discussion Forums - Things I Need To Know

I use the Discussion Forums quite a lot, and I have learned lots of things about them. However, I am still not sure about a lot of things, so I am going to ask some questions here. If you can answer them, then please do - I will be really grateful.

1) How do I change the colour of the text?
I have been puzzled about this one for quite a while. Lots of people have many different colours on their topics and signatures, and I would quite like to know how to do it.

2) How do I change the font?
This one isn't really important, but I would like to know. Is there really a way to do it on Scratch, or do I have to use fonts from the internet? Please say how I can do this, if you know.

3) Why doesn't my topic come up in bold?
Whenever I start a new topic, I seem to do all the right things. However, when I look through the list of topics, mine always come up without the blue dot beside them and aren't bold. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just like that so that I recognise my own topics?

4) How do I delete topics?
This is quite a big one. A while ago, I started up a topic which I now realise is basically just a duplicate of something else. I really want to delete it, but I don't know how. Please tell me, because I want to get rid of it.

5) How does the ‘report’ button work?
I am quite worried about this one. I have seen people saying that they 'reported for to be stickied'. I thought that the report button was just for bad things. What happens when you press the button? Is the ‘reporting to be stickied’ actually not anything to do with it at all?

Thank you for taking the time to read this topic. If you have answers to any of my questions, then please tell me. I would really like to know.

1. Use and tags
2. You can't
3. Bold topics are topics that have unread posts.
4. You can't, you can close it though
5. Sort of like comments except it doesn't always have to be a bad reason, you can report it to be closed or moved, or deleted.

All you have to do is quote someone who used colored text to see how they did it. HINT: It uses tags.

You can't. The blue letter A let's you choose between big and small.

Bold topics have unread posts.

Topics cannot be deleted as far as I know. Use the report button and ask for it.

The report button is for when you want to say something to Scratch Team, either good or bad, but don't waste their time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this topic. If you have answers to any of my questions, then please tell me. I would really like to know.

Thanks! Just one question: how do you ‘close’ a topic?

Just going to mention that topics can be “deleted”, but not by the user. If you report a post and ask for it to be deleted, it can be moved by a Scratch Team member to the Dustbin forum, which is where the “deleted” posts are moved to.
