Minimizing the player window in the editor, then picking up a variable causes the variable to double in physical size
My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.12.5, Chrome 58.0.3029.110, Flash 25.0 (release 0)

The variable returns to normal size when the page is refreshed, but because of how massive the variables can get, you can center them off screen and effectively ‘lose’ them.

This is a known issue: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/89174734/
Reported here: https://github.com/LLK/scratch-flash/issues/958
It only happens when the player is in Stage3D mode (i.e. when you have any graphic effect other than brightness/ghost anywhere in the project, and your OS/browser/Flash/grpahics-card supports Stage3D), and it affects *all* watchers (i.e. lists, and built-in things such as “volume”, “x position”, etc.)
I can't imagine it being fixed in Scratch 2.0 at this point (and Scratch 3.0 works in completely different way, so it's not relevant).
