We're doing this project in school, and I would like to help someone with it, but we have to work on it at home. Is there a way that we may work on it together?

There currently isn't.

You can if one person shares the project as the have it, and then you remix it, work on it, and then share it so that they can remix your version. You both keep remixing the other's version until it is completed.
A good way to organize all of the remixes is in a studio.

Yes, but as soon as the other person remixes it, you can unshared it.
