Funny thing is, I just watched Jungle Book movie for the first time (ikr? I should have watched it ages ago!), and the vultures are supposed to be caricatures of the Beatles. I got confused between the ‘John’ vulture and the ‘George’ vulture

And yeah, the Broadway musical is supposed to be pretty good.

I love The Beatles. Yellow Submarine was the first song I ever heard.

I didn't even notice that the first time I read it."Helped from seeing Help"? Also, I didn't really like the movie “Across the Universe”. I mean, I love the Beatles, but I think the covers that the actors did for that film were just horrible.
On another note, my favorite Beatles album is Revolver, but I've really been getting into Rubber Soul lately. I just like the laid-back, folky atmosphere. I rediscovered “I'm Looking Through You” and started learning it on guitar - it's a fun song to play - but you have to remember to put the capo on the first fret. Raising it up from G to Ab gives the song an airier mood somehow.

I agree. Across the Universe was not that great. I guess they tried to incorporate many Beatles classics, including in the character names, which made the outcome kinda weird. I'd say it's watchable, but it shares many resemblances to modern musicals etc.I didn't even notice that the first time I read it."Helped from seeing Help"? Heh, I remember learning I'm Looking Through You a while back too. It is indeed fun to play. Also, Rubber Soul is a great album but Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road are on the top for me.

I like Abbey Road a lot. I remember I would just sit in my room and play the songs off it on repeat for literally hours and hours.

Worst album to put on shuffle though, because the medley just doesn't go right that way.Yeah, the movie was watchable, but it was kind of “ehh”.I agree. Across the Universe was not that great. You're right. Any other Beatles album works fine on shuffle, but Abbey Road, no way.
The only worse album you can put on shuffle is Pink Floyd's “Dark Side of the Moon”.

Fantastic album that too. And yes, won't work with shuffle either, although its transitions are more subtle, like in some of the songs in Sgt. Pepper.Worst album to put on shuffle though, because the medley just doesn't go right that way.Yeah, the movie was watchable, but it was kind of “ehh”.I agree. Across the Universe was not that great. I agree, but Sgt Peppers was the album that got me into listening to whole albums instead of just shuffling playlists

I never shuffle Beatles records unless I listen to picks on the iPod from different albums.
