I will take you on as an artist.
Your programming skills aren't 8 in what is possible but your programming skills are 8 in what you can do.
You didn't lie, you just don't know the limits. Maybe when you get better at scripting I might take you on as a programmer too.
I also don't care if you're 10 in art but 0 in everything else, vice verse. As long as you are good at one of the 3 options you will be eligible to join
