Click to enable adobe flash player?
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 57.0.2987.133, No Flash version detected
Whenever I load a project, it gives me a gray screen with a puzzle piece and text below saying “Click to enable Adobe Flash Player”
I click it to allow Flash, but when it reloads it gives me the same screen.
This has been happening for the past few days, is there any way to fix this?

It appears that you do not have flash. You should download it immediately!

You might not have flash… you should download it if you don't.
When I first got back on my computer for Scratch, it did the same (however I did have Flash and it worked just fine for me)… maybe yours is outdated or you don't have it?

My main issue is that it worked on this PC earlier. It just suddenly gives this error.

You're which gives you that message as Flash is becoming deprecated. Yes, you've heard it. Flash is becoming deprecated.
You've got Chrome 57. Google started to kill it with 53 and officially did with 55. (higher or lower, give or take)

Thanks for sharing that.
If chrome completely removed Flash as the default player, how do I access scratch without switching browsers?

Hold on just a minute..
An earlier post (https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/249928/) has the exact same Chrome version but it only gave me the “no flash” error recently!
Something's wrong with this.

(removed by moderator - please keep it polite)I've been having the same problem as kylealt. I have the latest version of chrome so that why it probally isnt working. WHen I click the enable flash, or right click and say enable flash, the page doesent do anything. Absolutely nothing happen, and reloading the page doesent help. I just ask the creators to make this compatible with HTML5.

I've been getting the same issue, but instead, it says “Right-click to run Adobe Flash Player”. Sometimes on weekdays, this error stays and it prevents me from accessing projects.
Edit: I think that error will stay forever

Click to enable adobe flash player?
My nephew has this problem even though the page http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/ displays correctly after right clicking and activating. Both are set to allow flash in the settings. On my version of Chrome I was just asked to click here to activate rather than right click which give you a menu. Both machines are running the latest version of Chrome, the most significant difference is he is running as a standard user.
