do you finish the game after you defeat the Elite Four? I couldn't even get past ONE BATTLE in that…. all of my Pokemon died lol… funny thing is, it was the first battle I actually lost…..

When fighting the elite 4 make sure to save BEFORE you go into the portal in the center. Once you've beaten the elite 4 and gone through that portal kukui fights you and if you loose to him you have to fight the elite four again… If you do lose to him and you saved before going through the portal, press the home button and close the game WITHOUT saving so you don't have to fight the elite four again. I don't count this as a spoiler because having to fight the elite 4 again if you lose to kukui spoils the game on it's own. Also you will need to use the items that hau and gladion give you and if you lose to kukui you won't get the items again so it's a good idea to save and if you lose to exit without saving then try beat kukui again.

I saved before it and kept resetting my save, but at that point I didn't have enough revives to win

I played too much Mario and Luigi: Dream Team and forgot how dying in Pokemon worked. I thought you went back to when you last saved. During the Totem Lurantis battle, I fought for my life. I hadn't saved in hours.
