Great guide, I can tell you put a lot of work into it (Trust me, I had to type one up myself..).
Another bit of advice I have to give, is just be yourself. If you try to act all fake, people won't see you for who you really are. Creating projects should express what you value, and what you know.

Great guide! I think it really helps that you have made it with personal experiences in mind (shutting yourself away in a corner instead of being part of the community). I was really shy when I started Scratch, but then @Kaitou_Queen sent me a ‘welcome to Scratch’ message on my profile. I think that sort of thing, although small, really helps new scratchers.

Hard work will always beat talent, if talent doesn't work hard.

I believe another factor to into relevent is what community you participate (FNAF, Polandball, Minecraft.). if you are in a very large one, like platformers, then possibly you will get more views than if you were in things like xkcd communities.

How large communities ar doesnt mean that they ar as relevent as in other places.
Jag get no relevence in polandball, but in reddit, almost every major redditor knows what polandball is.
