i always find it funny when people say “such as” and then end with “etc” because both imply that there are more so it's a little bit redundant
anyway ive never played team fortress or team fortress 2 but ive seen well-done sfm videos using tf2 characters

Yep, I've seen some SFM videos too. Some of those are great.

I've started playing it a couple months ago, and it's awesome.
Also, if you want some weapon that you can't seem to get, go to scrap.tf. You can trade scrap metal for weapons with the site's bots. It's really cool!

Aw yeah, TF2! I profess in a couple classes, most specifically Pyro (using the Degreaser, Reserve Shooter and Homewrecker or Neon Annihilator) and Engineer (using the Rescue Ranger, Pistol, and Jag). I've bought Strange versions of all those weapons, too ('cept for the Rescue Ranger because there isn't one), and I have a couple more sitting around.
Also, the economy, man, the economy! Keys were, like, a bit less than 4 ref when I first started, and now they're over five!
(Sorry if I just out-terminology'd any of you)

I'd play if I could find a patient person willing to teach/help me until I'm good enough, but unfortunately all of my friends are rude and aggressive about their video games! And I hate having to play with other people it makes me so nervous!Unfortunately, playing with other people is pretty much the entire game.
I can help you out, if you want. My Steam profile's here if you want to add me. There's a cool group of servers that I go on regularly, too, although they only host three maps. But doing whatever else is fine.

This is the best hat simulator ever! 
Anyways, I haven't played this game in MONTHS. I remember the last time I played it was during the halloween thing. I probably should play it more, it's really fun.

I haven't played this nearly enough since I got Gmod, but I'm downloading it right now on my Linux box. I remember one time I discovered that I had two pairs of pyrovision goggles. One was vintage, one was normal from an achievement. I offered a pair of pyrovision goggles for free. Ten I saw in the chat “RandomPlayer has traded for: Vintage Pyrovision Goggles” and basically begged for someone to trade me theirs for like 4 ref or so.
I main Medic, but also enjoy spy (but I hate when there are too many) and soldier. I dislike pyro and scout.

Used to be bigger fun in the beginning without items (hat and costume is fine, but now with all the different guns everybody just chasing that and nobody focusing on the game play) who agree?

New update, with RoboCrate keys!
I'm going to stock up on RoboCrates and then sell them on the Community Market when they become a rare drop. Or should I just unbox them?

New update, with RoboCrate keys!Hm, I never liked unboxing crates, but that's just my opinion. Which one will you choose: Getting a random item that may not make you happy, or sell the crate and then buy the item that you want?
I'm going to stock up on RoboCrates and then sell them on the Community Market when they become a rare drop. Or should I just unbox them?
Agh, I haven't played TF2 for a while… I still need to convert the game files in order to start it.
